About Me
My name is Lulu Magee. I am a senior at Skidmore College, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Education Studies I have always known I’ve wanted to work with children. I have been lucky enough to have many experiences where I have been able to work with children in different settings and be exposed to a variety educational pedagogy and future careers.
Throughout my schooling, I have considered many paths to pursue. During my first semester, I quickly realized that I wanted to work in Education to take the experiences I’ve had to help advocate for young kids to develop confidence in themselves.
I am drawn to experiences that allow me to make professional connections and continue learning about different types of education. My hope is that I can someday use my knowledge and skills of working with kids to make them feel seen and supported as an Elementary School Counselor.
My Misssion
With true empathy and care for children and families, my longterm goal is to work with other professionals in the fields of Education, Psychology, Public Policy & Nonprofit work.
